Pergola questions,
clearly answered.

Start here to understand the roof and enclosure options before planning your project.

What is the difference between a retractable and a rotatable louvered roof?

Rotatable louvers tilt to change their angle. A retractable roof gathers its panels to create a larger opening, while retaining a panel stack at one end. Ask to see the opening arrangement for the specific system you are considering.

Does a retractable louvered roof open completely?

Not necessarily. The panel stack occupies part of the roof even when retracted. Confirm the stack size and usable opening for your selected system during design.

Can a pergola be combined with insulated glass?

Yes. Pallora offers applicable insulated sliding glass and motorized guillotine glass configurations. Our Suffern project includes insulated motorized guillotine glass, and Fresh Meadows includes sliding doors with insulated glass units.

How much will my project cost?

Pricing depends on dimensions, roof type, glass configuration, screens, access and installation scope. Send photos, approximate measurements and your location for a project-specific discussion.

Which states does Pallora Systems serve?

Pallora Systems serves New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Featured projects include Monroe Township, Suffern and Fresh Meadows.

What should I send to request a quote?

Email your name, town and state, photos, approximate width and projection, and the systems you want to pallorasystems@gmail.com. Include your preferred use of the space.

Are the website renderings completed-project photos?

No. Renderings are labeled 3D design. The project pages separately include videos of the completed installations. The glass railing feature image is labeled style inspiration.
